Context

An energy-sector operations team prepared recurring regulatory reports from information spread across internal business systems. The work supported an established reporting process; client and system names are intentionally omitted.

Constraint

The solution had to fit around existing tools and preserve legacy DBF compatibility. Replacing the surrounding systems was outside the work's scope.

Previous workflow

Each daily cycle required manual extraction, consolidation, and validation across disconnected sources. The routine typically took 50–60 minutes before a report could be prepared.

Approach

A low-intrusion assisted workflow keeps the existing tools in place while moving repeatable transformations into a defined processing sequence.
